55th Reunion Letter of March 13, 2024:55th Reunion Early-Bird Pricing Ends on Sunday!Dear Classmates and Class Associates, For those of you who haven’t yet registered for 69’s 55th in ’24 Reunion, it’s not too late to take advantage of the EARLY BIRD RATE, which includes a $75.00 savings each for you and your guest and which ends this Sunday, March 17th! We’ll be holding 69’s 55th in ’24 for 4 Days of Peace & Music from Thursday, May 23 - Sunday, May 26, 2024. There will be Alumni-Faculty Forums and other seminars; spectator sports, some involving alumni; arch performances by singing groups; lots of time to catch up with classmates over drinks (including Devil’s Backbone beer imported from the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA and our traditional Wine Tasting before Friday dinner); and, of course, the one and only P-Rade at 2:00 PM Saturday, followed by a Class Dinner at 6:00 PM. Registration Process: Here is a detailed step-by-step guide (NOTE: Class Associates click a dedicated “Associates Register Here” link on the Home Page, just under the “Full 55th Information” icon): - Navigate to our Class Website’s new Reunions Home Page (log in to enjoy the full capabilities). Before you register, check out our Class schedule, our housing options, and our available Class paraphernalia, plus the U’s full schedule, all at your fingertips via the icons on the Home Page.
- When you’re ready to register, click the “Register Now” link —you’ll arrive at an intro page. Note: on this page are instructions for paying by check, if you choose that option, so you might want to take note. You’ll see them again at the end if you choose that option.
- Click the “Register Now” button, and you’ll arrive at a TigerNet login page. Log in with your TigerNet ID. (If you don’t have one, or don’t remember it, click this TigerNet Help link.)
- You’ll arrive at a personal info page, where you provide your name, address, etc. (some fields might be filled in already). Here’s where you document any special dietary or ambulatory needs. Remember to scroll down and click the terms and conditions box. Then click “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
- The next page shows a summary of what you entered, and allows you to add a guest (your spouse or other companion) – scroll down if you don’t see that option immediately. Type in your guest’s name -- it will likely respond that the guest is not found (i.e., not a classmate), so just click the “Person not found” or “Guest is under 21” button as appropriate. In the rare case where the companion is an honorary classmate or has a Class Login for some other reason, click next to his/her name.
- Fill in any missing information for your guest (sadly, you have to scroll pretty far down to reach our class year!), then click “Continue.”
- You can repeat the previous two steps for additional guests. When you’re finished with guests, click “Continue.”
- You’ll arrive at a page that allows you to choose your “ticket type:” all three days or Saturday only. Click the appropriate choice.
- Next page asks which meals you plan to attend (click “attending” or “Not Attending” — note that Sunday Brunch has an additional cost). Please check the meals you want! We need this information to provide a head-count to our vendors. On this page, you also choose any paraphernalia you’d like to add. Every adult receives a free insignia water bottle; the rest are optional. Hit “Continue” at the bottom.
- Repeat the process for your guest(s). After you hit “Continue,” you’ll see a summary of your choices. You can hit “Continue” to proceed, or “Go Back” to make changes.
- You’ll arrive at the Housing section. If you’re staying at a hotel or at the Erdman center, simply hit “Continue.” If you need on-campus housing, click “I would like to request housing,” and fill out the form that appears on the screen. Then hit “Continue."
- The next page allows you to contribute to Class-sponsored causes and/or Annual Giving. If you’ve already done so, simply hit “Continue” or “No Thank You."
- You’ve arrived at the final page, where you review your choices, fill in your address, and click the appropriate payment button. You’ll be taken to a payment page to finish your registration. You may pay by check or credit card (except American Express). NOTE: we encourage classmates to pay by check to save the class the 3% credit card fee and thereby provide incrementally more funds for reunion and class activities without increasing registration fees.
- When you’re done, you’ll see a confirmation page with QR codes for you to present when you check in at Reunions. Print, or save to your phone.
- Finally, re-visit our website to see our schedule of events, who else has registered, and other Class-related information.
