CALL TO ORDER

A class meeting was held in Room 224 of the Frick Chemistry Building on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in advance of the Yale game.  President Chris Meyer called the meeting to order at 9:30 AM.  Classmates present were Dick Bott, Bill Charrier, Jim Gregoire, Chip Jerry, Rick Kitto, Chris Milton and Bob Raymar. 

NECROLOGY

We read the names of the six classmates who had passed away since our previous meeting: Robert “Dick” Drennan, Ron Hockett, Charles Wiggins, Steve Kahler, Jim Shuey, Peter Straus, and Olugbemi “Olu” Olutimayin.  We paused for a moment of silence in their memory.

MINI-REUNIONS

We discussed the timing and location of future mini-reunions.  Boston was viewed as a very popular venue and we are targeting a reunion there in the fall of 2026.  The following classmates will be engaged in planning the reunion – Chris Milton, Chris Meyer and others they can recruit.

TREASURER’S REPORT

Bill Charrier delivered the Treasurer’s report on behalf of Chuck Freyer.  To date, we have received dues from 87 classmates.  The class has a balance of $90,000 in its operating account, of which $10,000 will be paid out to PICS and the Paul Sittenfeld scholarship fund.

PICS REPORT

Bill Charrier updated us on the current status of PICS, which is thriving under the aegis of the Pace Center.  In 2025, PICS provided summer internships to 250 interns, out of a total of 693 who applied.  The interns served at 196 non-profit and governmental organizations.

ANNUAL GIVING

Bob Raymar announced the class’s goals for the 2025 – 2026 campaign: $300,000 in funds raised and participation of 57%.  For the campaign just ended, ’69 raised $285,998 with participation of 51.4%. 

ADJOURNMENT

Chris Meyer adjourned the meeting at 10:30 AM.
