MINUTES OF CLASS STEERING COMMITTEE
MEETING -- September 17, 2021
PRINCETON CLASS OF 1969
Call to Order
A virtual meeting of the Class of 1969 Steering Committee was held at 3 p.m. on September 17, 2021 on BlueJeans. The meeting was called to order by President Chris Milton.
Attendees
Those in attendance included Axelrod, Bott, Charrier, Freyer, Gehret, Kaplan, Kiesel, Kitto, McEldowney, Miller, Milton, Sheridan, and Steele.
President’s Report
Chris raised the question of whether the Class should hold a class meeting and dinner on Saturday, October 23, following the Harvard game. After considerable discussion, the following decisions were agreed to:
- A class meeting, cocktails, and dinner will be held outdoors on the heated, covered patio of Springdale Golf Club following the game. The class meeting is expected to be short.
- The $400 facility fee will be paid out of the Class treasury.
- The cost per person, not including the facility fee, will be approximately $75.
- An email will go to the entire class to ask classmates to register and pay. If the event needs to be cancelled for any reason, the registration fee will be refunded.
Other Reports
Clay McEldowney reported that Andy Brown, Jeff Marston, and he are busy planning for our 53rd Reunion. Clay will be in touch with Dan Harman to seek his advice in planning for the 55th.
